A midlife crisis is when you realizethe bill of goods you were sold when you were young; the "career", the "home" in the suburbs or the flat downtown, etc etc, amounts to a boringly aggravating job with a mortgage to pay and shrew to put up with.
If you never bought the goods then whatever trouble you have is not a midlife crisis.
Unless of course you somehow feel that you have something important to offer the world and nobody's interested.

I'm glad you are alrightIt's like earthquakes, the longer the inevitable gets put off the worse it ends up. I always believe that it is better to make one's mistakes early. At least that's how I've rationalized my mistakes.
