This is a question Midlife Crisis

I've hit my forties, and my midlife crisis has manifested itself in old band T-shirts and a desire to go on camper van holidays. How has it hit you, or - if you are still a youngling - your elders?

A midlife crisis is when you realize
the bill of goods you were sold when you were young; the "career", the "home" in the suburbs or the flat downtown, etc etc, amounts to a boringly aggravating job with a mortgage to pay and shrew to put up with.
If you never bought the goods then whatever trouble you have is not a midlife crisis.
Unless of course you somehow feel that you have something important to offer the world and nobody's interested.

Right on.
That's me alright. I tried some of that and now it's gone.
And I surely don't have anything to sell to the world.

I'm alright.

Alright :-)

I'm glad you are alright
It's like earthquakes, the longer the inevitable gets put off the worse it ends up. I always believe that it is better to make one's mistakes early. At least that's how I've rationalized my mistakes.
