MisunderstoodMy other half rang a courier today to get a disc sent over to a client. The courier company asked what it was she was sending. "A computer disc", she said.
Half an hour later, 3 blokes in a van turned up. They looked a little disappointed to be handed a floppy disc: they were all prepared to shift a computer desk across London.
Have you been utterly misunderstood recently?

another from uniI was sitting on the front row in the lecture hall, not listening to the lecturer as usual. Then I heard her say something that I didn't agree with and put up my hand to open a discussion about whatever it was not being valid for certain reasons. When I finished, it was all quiet (about 200 people there). I realised I hadn't heard the context of what she was saying and I was talking about something totally unrelated.
"Erm, never mind. Sorry."
