We do exactly the same thing. Fuck giving him anything expensive to use though. He gets a £40 tablet we got from ebay to watch youtube videos on.
Having said that, he has found some cracking cartoons. Masha & the bear (back whe it was only in Russian) and a cartoon called Larvae being particular favourites of mine.
