this has just reminded me...
When I was at university I was one of the "senior students" in the hall of residence, in other words, one night a week I was basically fire warden and had to do a cursory check of all the fire exits and kitchens, also to be 'on call' in case of any other problems, like being called out if toilets were blocked but also being prepared to give basic counselling and that sort of thing.

We'd had several items go missing from washing machines in the hall launderette, all from washloads belonging to female students, and I had to deal with that night's complaint. I spoke to the security guards and we watched the CCTV of the courtyard and recognised one of the students, a slightly strange reclusive lad, sneaking out of the launderette with a plastic bag.

The security guard and I went to visit him to ask him about this, and as we went into his room we saw a lot of the girls' clothing draped over almost every available item of furniture. He claimed it all belonged to his girlfriend, but none of his flatmates had ever seen him with a girl, friend or otherwise. The halls management people dealt with it thereafter and I think he was asked to return the clothing before being asked to leave.

The odd thing I noticed at the time, but didn't ask him about, was that I'm sure he was wearing a bra, and possibly two, under his T-shirt. I noticed the strap indents in his shoulders and the strange cloth ripples across his chest. I spoke to the security guard and the hall staff later about it but I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned to any of the girls whose clothing was returned to them...

Two people "almost" got asked to leave my hall of residence...
Because they got jiggy in the middle of the quad during a big hall party.
