This is a question Mums

Mrs Liveinabin tells us: My mum told me to eat my vegetables, or I wouldn't get any pudding. I'm 32 and told her I could do what I like. I ate my vegetables. Tell us about mums.

I disagree^
Not all mothers are saints and not all are deserving of unconditional love from their children. If it will cause you less pain to cut ALL ties with her and live your own life with people that YOU have chosen, then that's a good choice too.

Too much history here and I don't feel like sharing, but sometimes, they DESERVE it when their kids refuse to forgive them for giving them a shitty start in life.

It's very easy to be a good parent, or at least, not to be a bad one. You shouldn't have to pay for choices they made - they should be able to repent at leisure - for the rest of their lives sometimes.

Chin up.

Fair play,
I just read (between the lines) it was the father at fault here. Bad mothers have it coming to them too.

Sorry, have my counselling head on this morning.
