My CollectionDo you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

I have collected . . .Various things over the years, but have never had a complete collection, these include . . .
2-6 yrs - Lego
5-8 yrs - He Man/Transformers/Airfix/Badges
8-10 yrs - Panini Football Stickers
10-12 yrs - Parker Pens
12-16 yrs - Penknives/Zippos
16-20 yrs - Beer Bottles of the world
16-Present - All of Ian Flemings Bond books!
I have collected CD's and old Cinema stubs since I was about 13-14 yrs old.
I think hoarding is in the genes, every member of my family has their random collections, my Ma collects Magazines and Recipes, my Aunt collects Make Up, Shoes and Handbags, some date from the 1950's. In my experience it all stops once you have 'completed' your collection, to start a new one!
*edit* yeah, I kept the balls from ink catridges too, to this day, I don't understand why?!
