My Collection
Do you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

various, normally picked up on the way back from teh pub
Car badges, over 60, each different ranging from skoda to a porsche all of which are proudly displayed according to value of car and how pretty they are with an old style mini badge having pride of place in the middle of the mantle. Traffic signs, at one point enough to create a diversion blocking 4 streets, although sadly we weren't allowed to bring them with us when we moved. Ash trays of various shapes, sizes and brands without a single one having been paid for and for some reason lighters, lots of lighters... seriously, i've got a cardboard box almost full of the things, the box used to contain a 32" TV - seems i just buy another whenever i need anything from the tobacco counter and the old/barely working ones just get dumped in the box.
