This is a question Nativity Plays

Every year the little kids at schools all over get to put on a play. Often it's christmas themed, but the key thing is that everyone gets a part, whether it's Snowflake #12 or Mary or Grendel (yes, really).

Personally I played a 'Rich Husband' who refused to buy matches from some scabby street urchin. Never did see her again...

Who or what did you get to be? And what did you have to wear?

I'm curious to see where this ends up.
Although all I was suggesting that just because people can't answer a question doesn't mean it can't provide the same potential for humour.

Don't get me wrong - I agree with you in the most part...
...despite my rant on page one.

However, b3ta is famed for its adult/sick/outrageous humour. I know QOTW isn't always like that, and we've had weak questions in the past...

There's been a voice getting steadily louder about the quality of the questions recently, and I think many of the complaints stem from frustration that noone's listening to regulars who like somewhat more outrageous questions.

This is true, b3ta is indeed known for being outrageous.
And if you think about it, nativity plays kind of push the boat out just that little bit more. But this site isn't just for the regulars, there are the newbies to consider as well.

No offence pb
but that's a pretty weak argument. We should occasionally have questions that won't generate lots of answers or laughs to help newbies feel at home?

Screw that. The better the question, the better the quality of newbie we'll attract, the better the overall quality of the answers, and the happier the QOTWers in general.

It's not the quality of the question I think
More the quality of the answer.

Agreed to an extent
but I stand by my opinion that this question is weak. We'll let the Best page tell the story on Thursday.

Indeed we shall.
