The nicest thing someone's ever done for me
In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

I think
Harry Nilsson - I can't live without you (or whatever the actual title is you know the one) would probably be more appropriate!!
;)

It was a mix...
The gig I went to was Incubus, so I was preparing, and 'our song' (god, how cliche does that sound) was 'I miss you'
Good god, I'm off to have a rummage to make sure I've still got male parts.

or Roxette
Lay a whisper on my pillow
Leave the winter on the ground
I wake up lonely, is there a silence
In the bedroom and all around
Touch me now, I close my eyes
And dream away...
It must have been love, but it's over now
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow
It must have been love, but it's over now
From the moment we touched till the time had run out
Make believing we're together
That I'm sheltered by your heart
But in and outside I turn to water
Like a teardrop in your palm
Sorry mate :0) I'll get you a pint in later to make up for my cruel words.

Hmm...
What makes it worse is that she's a singer, and a bloody good one at that.
See here - www.myspace.com/misscarrieannwilliams
And all those recordings are from when she was 16/17
