In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

You get a few hitchers where I livebut I've never picked anybody up - I did have have a big lengthy reply but I've posted it on the board instead :)
