In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

Nice post, reminded how much I miss my dad. If I'm ever missing him more than usual, I play "Still can't say goodbye" by Chet Atkins. The hat theme has a special poignancy for me.
It gets better over time but I feel your pain.

To Say Goodbye To You
A Love So Rare
First one is for mum who died in February of lung cancer, second one is for my newfound (of four years) dad, who's dying of throat cancer.
Fucking cancer.
