In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

I agrees with your idea (apart from cookies... would you eat some food a stranger gave you?) excpet..

the cookies were unopenedand i usually hold the door for people, that was just an example
