This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

I understand
One of my pet peeves is people who confuse emotional health with mental health. Both are important and obviously there is a close relationship between the two... But if you suffer genuine mental illness or imbalance it is hard to be taken seriously when what the world sees more often are people who refer to themselves as bipolar or depressesd when in actual fact what they have are "moods".

Mental health affects everything, your whole life, every day. It is not sexy.

You have my empathy, and a click.

I can usually tell when someone is just a moody bugger and not a mentalist.
They don't have much of a sense of humour.

Mentalists do.

And don't worry WIL, i don't reckon you'll lose yer mates. Not when you and them have what would seem to be the hearts of giants.
