Always go through recruitment consultants when looking for a jobthey know best and would never lead you astray in the pursuit of making some commission.

I had a telephone interview for a job an agency found for meI'd told the agency I wasn't interested in it but they passed on my details anyway to the director of this firm.
He asked why I wanted to work for them and was a bit confused when I said that I didn't.
Hopefully they ditched that agency.
