The last time I used the self scan at Waitrose, I left the bottle of wine and the bottle of gin until last as the assistant was not around to confirm that I was over 18.

I scanned the wine and put it in the shopping bag. The light came on and the check out assistant came over and entered a code and helpfully put the bottle of gin in my bag.

Of course I told him of his mistake.

Going to Waitrose to buy wine and gin.

I however get Ocado to deliver mine.
