(a) Started going to blues jams regularly and met lots of musicians who managed not to laugh at my limp-wristed bass playing, which was very encouraging.(b) Saw Emily Loizeau and Joanne Shaw Taylor in concert and managed not to be arrested for gross public indecency on either occasion
(c) If I remember correctly it was only in 2010 that I went to my first bash. So, meeting you lot in person for the first time, I guess.
