It doesn't help
that I slice myself fairly regularly anyway.

Funny thing is, usually when I nick or slice my hands I find it irritating, but it doesn't freak me out. It's more the thought of cutting or tearing flesh that gets to me. When it actually happens I can handle it- but thinking about it happening makes me feel ill.

I keep trying to read the entries and skim through for the ones I can handle, but invariably end up with my skin crawling within minutes.
