I'm slightly perturbed.......maybe even disturbed....
I got my first Christmas card today. It was also the first Christmas card I ever received from my dad (who I only met 4 years ago).

I visited the family in August when I was back home.

The card came complete with family newsletter. But I wasn't mentioned. Not even a "and Derick's daughter Sue came to visit"....

It's not like I'm a big secret (according to dad).

I dunno. It just made me cry is all.

The person I called dad my whole life commited suicide in 1999
then this guy pops out of the woodwork and says "Hi I'm your real dad I just stayed clear cos you already had a dad"

My response of "So you love your kids so much you let another man be their dad and never once tried to contact them" didn't go down to well.

We tried but the cunt didn't come to my wedding and hasn't acknowledge the existence of his two granddaughters.

He also gave us shit for trying to talk to our biological grandparents.

Dads can be thoughtless which is why I am always going to be there for my daughter.

Dads of that ilk annoy me. I lost my Real Dad when I was ten. He didn't die, he just pissed off and gave us up for adoption.

Adopting Dad was all promises and he turned out to be a jerk off to my Sister and Brother.

Dads, will you please just try to communicate with your children. Leaving it to slide for fifteen years is not being cool, it is being a twat.
