because I just changed my car's oil and a fair bit ran down my arm to my elbow. From the middle of my forearm up it looks like I have a great tan.
I drive an Isuzu Amigo. Today I discovered that the only place to get parts for the goddam thing is through the dealership, because Isuzu has pulled out of the US. This means that I have a very limited life left on this car.
BASTARDS!
So what pleasant things have you discovered today?

which means I can make my mum very happy tomorrow and my dad miserable (Well, it is mothers' day) by feeding her addiction to an old, old game called Mr E.
So which way's it going to go, Loon? - finish the tan with oil all over or a full bath in Swarfega?
Mmm, that's a good one actually. Was playing "Would you rather?" with my girlfriend earlier. I won with "Black pudding or steak and kidney pudding?" She'd rather kill herself apparently. Silly girl. Still, I'll get to eat all her black pud, steak and kidneys. Yum.

A BBC Micro? Awesome!
we've one at the parental lair but most of the game floppies don't work any more.
My mum was - is - addicted to Bumble Bee.
I'm a chuckie egg girl myself.
@Loon - Yup, bath in swarfega for you sir!

Gotta love a bit of Chuckie Egg! Did you get passed the bit with the flying chicken AND the walkers?
I used to love a game that I _think_ was called Commando, maybe Commando II. Not the vertical shooter, the horizontal one in the jungle with the flying saucer at the end of the first level.
You can get all the games online to play in an emulator, Tulip, gimme a sec I'll find some links :-)

My bro liked commando, was it the one with the bloke in green?

the parental bulbs have a wicked emmy at home. me own laptop is too slow and ungainly to support it properly :(

all quality stuff! Frak I loved but never could get that far on! Upside down and in the dark is just hardcore! Sounds familiar actually, I think I might have got as far as playing in the dark with the glowing yoyo once.
My all time favourite has to be Contraption.
Here's some links, just in case you can get it working or just to look through the old game titles...

Imogen...heard of it, but only from reading around the net. Never played it. Guess I'll have to give it a go!
My word, I just found Ghouls! Crikey, I think I just regressed 20 years :-)
What's you laptop? Can't take that much juice to emulate a bbc, can it?
( , Sat 21 Mar 2009, 21:29, Reply)

I think I'm also regressing.
I have no idea what flavour laptop it is but i do know it was almost bursty with all the stuff in its brain until the external hard drive happened... maybe I'll give it another go now :)

Kinda. Beebem's a bit jerky on my machine but I can't get Mess/Mame to work right now.
Frak is about as frustrating as I remember!
