Advice from Old PeopleSometimes, just sometimes, old people say something worth listening to. Ok, so it's like picking the needle out of a whole haystack of mis-remembered war stories, but those gems should be celebrated.

Nana Burns was a wee canny soul...Always said 'if it's meant to be it won't pass you by'.... In my late teens when she passed on this gem of wisdom I did think it was a load of old cr*p... However, it would now appear to be quite true. Gawd bless the old bird.
