golfIs just the biggest pile of wank imaginable, in my view. The most pointless 'sport' to be televised, it's even more pointless when you get coverage on the bloody radio. I swear this is true, years ago I had a work colleague who asked if he could change channels on the radio 'so he could listen to the golf'.
He got told, in no uncertain terms, to fuck off.
I agree with k2k6's summation that it's not so much the game as the general arseyness of the traditions built up around it. But it's still shite.
