It's all part of human natureto do things you have been specifically told not to. Especially when you're young! I had a similar experience myself at that age.
I also remember being told at my last job to "not press the red button under the counter, it makes the alarm go off and it's a pain in the arse turning it off." You can guess what I did, but being older I atleast made it look like an accident.
