Ouch!A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

i'm quite luckyin that i have an NHS dentist who is very good. he's sorted out most of the damage done by the ex-dentist and given me 2 gold teeth. one of them was meant to be white, but he wrote on the form that i clench my teeth and needed the gold one, because, and i quote, "you want it because it's shiny, don't you?"
my new dentist is great :)
