Ouch!A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

Oh LordyI was thinking about having an IUD put in. I've just had my implant removed and I'm really not liking this whole "natural period" thing. However, having just read your (wonderfully funny and very informative) essay, I think I shall wait it out a while longer. Eep.
