no, once people with strong views on stories and how they should be told took hold, that was it
because some people get fed up of being flamed. and others relish it, which results in long 100+ threads about being upset.

i don't give a fuck either way, but it is undeniable that since people started pouncing on other people's stories to quite this degree, the number of stories has plummeted.
