What gives you the heebie-jeebies?
It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*
Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

not my own, the stuff the butcher sells.
The texture, the colour, the smell (I've no idea what it tastes like) just make me boak.

You poor,poor lass.
One of the finest meals known to man is Liver and Bacon with my onion gravy and mashed potatoes.
Massively good for you with loads of iron and vit D and tastes like an Angels just crapped on your tongue.
Cheers

Well said! Liver is indeed the food of the gods.
Well, the cheapskate gods, at least. I used to buy and eat loads of liver as a student, as I could feed myself for about 30p per meal.

I was a teenager I used to eat liver that was just shown the pan. Quick 5 second sear on each side then straight onto the plate.
Then I stopped even that I just ate the bugger raw. Lovely. Carried on doing that into my 20's then I saw a TV show about liver flukes which put me right off eating it raw.
So now it's back to cooking it.
Luckily Mrs Legless likes it too...
Cheers
