This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Baked Beans.
I've never liked them. For some reason, I now get a bit shaky around them (even if the tin's unopened), and cannot really look at the....product.... at all. That advert on telly for the microwaveable ones is awful.

If I see someone eat them I feel extremely sick.

Heinz ones (in that blue tin) are the worst, because all I really need to see is the tin before I feel really sick.

I know, it's not funny, really.

hey!
me too. I thought I was alone in my bean-terror.

Although I find sweetcorn worse. The thought of eating it makes me want to scream, even though it's been so long I can't actually remember what it tastes like any more.

Me too!
I've always been treated like some kind of social pariah by my friends for being deeply mistrusting of beans - well this week I have been vindicated!

The worst thing (for me at least) is when you're in a cafe or something and you order a full english without beans - but it comes with beans anyway.

If the bean juice so much as touches the sausages (or any other essential part of the breakfast), it's game over.

Eww, just thinking about the texture makes me feel sick...
