I had a similar experience......my ambulance didn't get clamped at the airport, but the wannabe policeman (airport security guard) demanded to have me and my partner frisked and our drug kits etc searched before they would let us in the departure lounge for a patient in cardiac arrest. "No problem" I replied and I then asked him his name. He wanted to know why and I told him that I'd be sure to mention him by name to the coroner if the patient died.
He let us in real quick after that and we managed to save the patient.
