Political Correctness Gone Mad

The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

the comment about the serviceman...
is amazing.
the only way my mind can get round that sort of thing is that when whoever it was came up with the idea, everyone who heard it laughed so much that they were completely unable to prevent it from being put into place.
they should be addressed the way that Gunnery Sergeant Hartman address the recruits in Full Metal Jacket.
and for that matter, kids at school should be addressed in the same way.
