Political Correctness Gone Mad
Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

Just for Pooflake this one....
We are no longer allowed to point out the differences between the colours of Poo and Semen, as drawing any form of comparison between white and brown is now completely frowned upon no-matter what the circumstances.
and just to add the fun..

You don't want to say "tone" either, as that suggests colour. How about "mood"?
Oh wait, that might be offensive to depressives.

You can't
say "mood" as that could be seen as discriminating against people with depression, or those on rag week.
I think you have to say "Ambience"

Ambience?
I'm ambidextrous and find your remark both hurtful and threatening.
