This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

this is actually partially true
now I'm prepared to be corrected as I can't remember exactly where I read this. but there's a particular region in africa (some part of kenya I think) where a huge percentage of the worlds top long distance runners come from.
Nobody is 100% sure why but the top theory is that this group of tribes, historically speaking, aren't hunters or farmers or fishermen, they're cattle rustlers.
So they make a living by running into neighbouring territory and stealing cows and runnings back (presumably chasing the cows, not carrying them) and the ones that are better at running are successful rustlers and thus have more cows to impress the ladies with as they pretty much use cows as currency, and the most impressive ones have the most wives and thus the most kids and because their dad was a good runner the kids are better runners and so forth and so on for hundreds of years

Also, I believe this region is at a pretty high altitude which is also a factor
