Cyril SmithI sat next to him at a Royal Regiment of Fusiliers dinner in Rochdale Town Hall in the 80's. He was a pleasant enough chap, even if his elbow encroached my space. At no point was there any attempt or suggestion of bare bottom spanking or fisting.
He seemed to enjoy his dinner.
