or just stick to vegetablesDespite protestations to the contrary, I can't see how slashing the neck of a conscious creature can be considered anything but unneccessarily spiteful, brutal, and cruel. All animals killed in the UK should be stunned first, fuck their exemption (and that of kosher). If they or their imaginary friend doesn't like it, there are plenty of vegetables to choose from.
