Prejudices start earlyI'm five and my brother is four and we're travelling on a bus in London. Now this is London and so I still can't understand the reaction of my brother. It is pretty much impossible that he had never seen a black person before. But that didn't prevent him from letting out a large squeal, pointing out the window at a group of black people and turning to our mother and saying 'oooh look at the chocolate people.' It took a long time to convince him they were not edible.
