This is a question Prejudice

"Are you prejudiced?" asks StapMyVitals. Have you been a victim of prejudice? Are you a columnist for a popular daily newspaper? Don't bang on about how you never judge people on first impressions - no-one will believe you.

Accents
I couldn't agree more. I like in the colonies also (the US, while I suspect from your words you're Antipodean). If I hear someone with an accent from the deep South, my own IQ drops 20% in having to listen to them. 40% if they're chewing tobacco. There's just something about the deep South accent that has me feel the talker is an intellectual pygmy. Even the incredibly smart rocket scientist I met a few weeks ago.

I know, I know. At least he wasn't Australian. Or from Boston (MA or UK). Or Birmingham.
