i'm not obesebut i was. i'm not going to lie and say i couldn't help it due to my health, because i could. i was fat before i became disabled(real disability, not weight-related.), the fact that i became fatter afterwards is incidental. i tried dieting, but i have very little willpower, so i had a gastric bypass.
best decision i ever made.
