... it's not true to suggest black people can't drive as well as others. However, it may also be true that some of the people you witnessed took their driving tests in other countries where the tests may not be as stringent as in the UK, or where the driving rules may be sufficiently different. As a London driver, that's my experience. Then again I used to live in Brixton, where it is frequently difficult (when walking) to avoid being stuck behind large African ladies (in full regalia) who move very slowly down the middle of the pavements, ignore you when you ask them to move or excuse yourself so you can pass, and tut loudly if (when) you eventually push past. This mentality may also explain their behaviour on the roads. Or maybe that's my prejudice...
