I wouldn't say I HATE architects, but...
I've worked with a fair few, and they can be infuriating. The urge to put their signature stamp on buildings (at someone else's expense) while overlooking practical realities such as the needs of the end user has made me feel pretty stabby at times.

Example: Architect insisting that white plastic door handles would look reeeally good in a primary school.
