Entertainment "News" reporters
Today's headlines:
-Russell Crowe gives up smoking
-Snoop Dogg compared to Lost's smoke monster by Katy Perry
-Emma Roberts refuses to strip
-Justin Beiber once dumped a girl via text message
-Miley Cyrus is pleased with her new sexy image

Who thinks this is worth printing or putting on a website? I follow entertainment news because, well, I love gossip, but I cannot fathom how anyone could think that the world gives a shit what Miley Cyrus thinks about being a slut or whether or not Russell Crowe is fighting cigarette addiction as well. I say, if you're going to have entertainment news, make it something juicy, not just a retelling of some throwaway line someone used in an interview that supplies all necessary info in the headline.

You love gossip
and that's gossip. I don't see a problem.
Calling it 'News' is misleading though.

My point
is that there's gossip I could give two shits about, say if someone has drug problems or is cheating on their wife/husband, but a lot of the stuff they print is irrelevant to me as a distant stranger, especially when it's something like "Lady Gaga likes to dance in the mirror". I don't think I could possibly care less about something like that. Now, if it was "Lady Gaga dances in the mirror while snorting cocaine", THAT would be entertainment news.

I guess you could say that I think entertainment news should be entertaining drivel, not complete drivel.

Fine then
There's a huff, so I'm leaving in it.
