Well said.Also try to focus on their immunity from the law. Take Steven Gerrard (or Stevie G as the proles call him); he assaulted someone, and despite video evidence to support this, got off scot free.
On the other hand, I wouldn't be unhappy if they let him off, then just appended the punishment to Joey Barton.
