^ thisalthough here in Barcelona, its mostly the other way round - cars drive through pedestrian crossings (at green men) due to the ridiculous system they have here - at least in the UK most, if not all places, all lights go red at the same time - here no - one direction, with the crossing having the red light/green man - resulting in many an unwitting game of chicken while crossing the street. Also the number of people who run off of the buses, straight into the path of bicycles (since they let out onto the bike lanes, rather stupidly) is fucking unbelievable. I have yet to see someone bounce off a tram, though I have seen it happen with a bus
