In my defenceWe're going for one night and therefore will be travelling light - minimal change of clothes required. She always takes her make up bag, and all I meant was the rucksack will be big enough to carry it in without having to resort to looking like an Avon representative by carrying the fecker herself.
'Cos i'm a gent, see? I'll be the packhorse on this trip, which will leave her with both hands free to point at the pretty lights...
