EnzymeExcellent. I usually just do the spiel on how its full of contradictions concerning how it claims to be all about loving thy neighbour and yet has one of the bloodiest histories in the history of religeons (including the one they had in Carthage I forget the name of where they sacrificed children to Baal). True, that was the proponants of christianity doing this and not the bible saying "go out and force this on people" but the point remains that no where does the bible even hint that everyone should believe it.
I have done a spot of bible bashing in my time. It was the biggest, heaviest book that came to hand when someone needed a clout on the head or a fly needed squashing and their wasn't a magazine to be had. I'll get me coat...
