I used to drive a 7.5t truckdelivering steel for a summer after I graduated.
It was a great job. OK, the early starts were a pain, but I loved it. Should my current career go belly-up - and really, it's a matter of "when" rather than "if" - I'd happily go back to it. In fact, I'm currently unable to decide whether I'd be better off career-wise by doing an LLM, or getting an HGV licence...

Get your licenseI did 7.5t for a while as my 25 yr old license allows it. Multi dropping all over the country including central London on a couple of days. Great fun.
