Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

funeral music
i went to a funeral today and it got me thinking about the fragility of mortality and my own funeral...
the lady today went out to tom jones "it's not unusual"; my nan went out to kool and the gang "celebrate"... i have demanded to go out to the benny hill theme tune and insist on ushers etc walking backwards and forwards a couple of times in fast motion before they bow before the coffin
what tune would you go out to?

Several!
All of them are cracking tunes:
"Take Him, Earth, For Cherishing" by Howells
"And I saw a New Heaven" by Bainton
"Faire is the Heaven" By Harris
"Bring Us, O Lord God" by Harris (again)
Beethoven Symphony No. 7, second movement
"De Profundis" by Sebastian de Vivanco
I'm not a complete nut, btw, I'm a singer and have put this list together after singing at countless funerals and memorial services.
But I probably would finish it off with the music from "Return of the Jedi" that plays as Luke is lighting Darth Vader's funeral pyre.
Or "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes".
