Pub toilets in darkness
Switch off light. Remove bulb. Place 1p on contacts of bulb. Refit bulb. Leave, without turning lights on.

That is all.

Or...
1. Switch off light
2. Remove bulb
3. Place 1p on contacts of bulb
4. Attempt to refit bulb
5. Someone else enters the toilet, turns on the light
6. Third degree burns

I've thought of a cheaper version.
Switch off light, Remove bulb.

My local must've been wired by mad ron the sparky.
The bog lights are wired to the front of house lights. So there's this transitional period at dusk where the bogs are dark as fuck.

That's pretty standard these days
presumably to stop dickheads fucking about with pennies

When I say 'front of house'
I really mean the outside ones that light the sign. Probably should've been clearer with that.

But I agree, if you think this sort of thing is funny then you should probably leave the pub and let the grown-ups drink in peace.

as obvious as this may sound, what happens when someone swtiches the ligh on then? Does it explode?!

I'd imagine it would trip the circuit breaker for the pub
leading to lolarious consequences
