I've done this sort of thing....Booked my best mate and me onto a flight to denmark for some stag weekend debauchery...
Booked it to fly out at 5am....we turned up for the 5pm flight!
so we got booked onto the next days 5am flight and had to spend the night in the airport drinking grolsch and eating airport food!

It was suggested that I do the same,but my entry visa would have expired at midnight so Australian customs would not have let me in, and insisted I fuck off back to the UK.
When I went through at Sydney with about an hour to spare the official said 'Cutting it a bit fine aren't you?' to which I replied 'you have no idea.'
