You should have called him a cunt there and then, got someone to give him a good kicking, led him around blindfolded on all fours in a room of broken glass and razors stuck in soap bars and then through the town making sure he smashed his head into every sharp thing all the way there and back and then done it all again. Then you should have have told him to be more careful and that it wasn't your responsibility to look after him, then tied him to a lampost near a nonce hotspot and smeared his arse with vasline and sand.
