Ripped OffA friend who worked in a second hand record shop told us about a Japanese guy who regularly bought "rare" records in their shop. One time, he was looking for a signed copy of "Never Mind the Bollocks".
They didn't have one. Four people and one magic marker later, they did. Ker-ching!

More transport adviceIf you ever hire a car and they supply it with a tank full of fuel on the basis that you have to return it in that state then go to the nearest garage, fill it up, get a receipt and then mention this when you take it back. My dad has 9 times out of 10 managed to get between 5 and 15 quids worth of petrol or diesel into a supposedly full car.
It's all vehicles with me isn't it? No wonder they think I'm such a spanner.
