Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.
Thanks to SpankyHanky for the suggestion

Peterlee
Our claims to fame include the annoying fireman off the series of Big Brother that had Jade Goody in it, and the worst Christmas tree in Britain. Notice the Poundland in the background, probably one of our more upmarket shops.
Clearly a spectacular town.

I can validate this claim.
Never thought I'd find another b3tan living in peterlee. Hell's frozen over, surely.
There's also the tale of what happened to the 'redevelopment' of the 'shopping centre'. No they didn't tear it all down like they should have, but built a whopping white warehouse right in the middle of the town and slapped an ASDA sign on it. There was never really any hope after that.
